Local Business Directory Website for the Richmond Area Business Association (RABA), covering the towns of Richmond, Huntington and Bolton, Vermont. Funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The Richmond Area Business Association’s purpose is to provide support, structure, and a unified voice for area businesses, with a focus on making a positive contribution to the local community. There are currently over 300 businesses in this organization that range from smaller home-based offices to larger companies with a global reach.
Here we created a regional, search optimized business directory for the Huntington, Richmond and Bolton areas. In addition to building this local business directory from scratch, we added interactive maps for quick and easy driving directions, and an events calender that can be updated via remote data feeds. The goal here was to highlight the appeal of the region, give a local businesses a stronger presence online, and give tourists a guide to recreational spots in the region. We enjoyed working with a business organization like RABA because it fit well with our company’s mission to help grow businesses online.
