Peter Jewett
Founder
My name is Peter Jewett. I operate Burlington Bytes out of my home in the New North End of Burlington, VT, as well as from an undisclosed office in the Old North End. I live with my wife Katie, my son Parker, my cat Mazie, my bulldogge Otis, and my three chickens, Rose, Sophia & Blanche. I've been building business websites for the past 13 years and have lived in Burlington since 2003. My main missions are helping people build their businesses online and making Burlington a major tech-hub of the US.
Jay Di Vece
Co-owner
As Co-owner, I help Peter keep the ball rolling from our studio in the Old North End of Burlington. I listen to a lot of music, ride a bike, snowboard, drink tea and take the DIY approach to most things. After graduating with a BS from Champlain College, I worked in both tech support and software training for a dot com company before gallivanting off to Korea. There, I worked at a private elementary school teaching English as a second language, and got to travel around Southeast Asia. I now reside in Burlington's Old North End with my wife and dog. My goal is to make Burlington Bytes a model for client retention and customer satisfaction.
Julianna Roen
Intern
I am a Computer Science major with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Vermont and will be starting up my sophomore year by the end of August 2013. In the community, I am one of two art editors for The Water Tower, UVM's alternative newsmag, and a club member of AERO, UVM's Alternative Energy Racing Organization. I enjoy drawing, biking, swimming and playing/listening to music. Working at Burlington Bytes is a rewarding experience. I love learning about the latest technologies and ways of developing websites as well as helping local businesses grow.
